Introduction

Palmyra Racing Association has one of the top MX facilities in the Northeast. Our events have drawn riders from as close as the house next door, and as far away as Russia. From our 3 mile, natural terrain MX track to our Piggyback Hill track for the minis, to our woods course of bark busting single track, steep hills, and tight turns, our 75 acre property truly has something for everyone. We are a private club, established in 1962, that held many races of many different types since then. Currently we host Motocross several events a year for WNYRacing , as well as our annual harescramble.

For information on joining the club, please see the
Joining the Club page.

Our track features a covered pavilion to watch race events during those hot and sunny (or rainy days).

We have a second set of stands in the middle of the track that provides viewing there too. Between the two viewing areas, you can almost see the whole track!
See the yellow tent in the picture below

When you’re done watching the racing or need a break, we have several local food vendors on site. There is also a recently built sandbox for your little ones to play in, or design their own tracks. We also have clean, indoor restrooms, with running water.

On race day our pit area is typically filled with vendors selling everything from spare parts to gear.

Motocross Track

The centerpiece of Hogback Hill is a 35 acre 3 mile motocross track with its own underground watering system. The track has 14 jumps that range from 20 to 110 feet and include doubles, triples and plenty of table tops. We are always modifying and changing the track to keep it interesting for our members!

Piggyback Hill
Piggyback hill is a dedicated pee-wee track separate from PRA’s natural terrain motocross course. It was completed in May of 2007. This track is sized for our 4-11 year old riders on 50cc bikes. It has it’s own starting gate and features a supercross inspired over/under hill along with other pee-wee sized obstacles and a small-bike friendly layout. The track is designed to provide a safe and exciting course to introduce young riders to the sport of motocross close to the spectators but away from the seat deep ruts and bumps of the big track. Our hope is to offer a track that is exciting to ride and watch and makes the future riders of our sport want to come and race regardless of the weather conditions. Having a premium track for their use only should let the young riders as well as their parents know how important they are to the Palmyra Racing Association members and our sport.

Woods course
Almost half of our property is wooded with steep uphills, nearly vertical downhills, and areas that almost never dry out. You will find enduro, woods and trials riders out there at any time. The track varies in length from 3-5 miles, depending on the time of year. The woods course is maintained by an extremely dedicated crew of woods riders who are always maintaining and changing the course to keep it challenging while having the smallest impact on the land it possibly can.

Our woods course has been featured in several events, including our annual Harescramble, the Wayne County Motorcycle Club’s Newark Enduro, WCMC’s Monkey Butt Dual Sport, and the Arcadia Barkbusters’ Funduro.
