Since 1962, Palmyra Racing Association has been dedicated to promoting, encouraging, aiding, and engaging in the art and skill of motorcycling and the better understanding thereof and to fostering the safety of such sport. Palmyra Racing Association is the oldest not-for-profit organization of its kind in the Nation that continues to operate out of its original location.

Hogback Hill MX, the premier Western New York facility that is owned and maintained by Palmyra Racing Association, is attractively nestled on nearly 180 acres in the heart of Palmyra, NY. The facility’s tracks consist of the main amateur motocross track that is spread across 35 acres, a separate 50cc track known as “Piggyback Hill”, plus a surrounding hare scramble style woods loop.

The top-notch property has ample parking to accommodate visitors while hosting multiple open practices and races each year. Amenities include several outdoor bleachers as well as a covered pavilion for spectators, restrooms with running water, and a spray station for washing bikes. Concession stands are available during scheduled events.

The well-maintained track includes 40 hydraulic starting gates and an underground watering system. The rugged and natural elevation changes allow for off-camber corners, as well as 14 jumps that range from 20 to 110 feet, including doubles, triples, and tabletops., The newly expanded and improved Piggyback Hill hosts 23 starting gates, and provides challenging excitement for all 50cc experience levels. Seasoned riders as well as those new to the sport enjoy Hogback Hill’s skill testing obstacles and adrenaline pumping experience.

Palmyra Racing Association is a long-time promoter of the Empire State Motocross District, and became AMA sanctioned in 2023. The facility’s highly anticipated signature event “King of the Hill” is now hosted as a sanctioned event and attracts racers and spectators from all over the region, bordering States, and Canada.
