Minor Racing Requirements

Riders under the age of 18 must adhere to one of the following to be eligible to sign up at EACH event and/or practice:

a. BOTH parents must come to sign up with valid ID’s and BOTH parents must sign the minor release.

b. Complete the online AMA Annual Minor Release and present the release card received by the AMA at sign up.  The completion of this step allows for only 1 parent/guardian to be present at sign up. The AMA Annual Minor Release forms are found:  https://americanmotorcyclist.com/racing/racing-resources/annual-release/ Please be sure to select the appropriate corresponding form (Multiple Guardians or Sole Custody) and follow ALL instructions carefully to ensure proper completion.  It is recommended that these forms be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to the event to ensure appropriate processing times.  Please note, you will receive a confirmation email from the AMA that the release has been received, this first email is NOT the actual release card.  Once approved, you will receive an additional email with the annual release card included for printing.

c. The minor release forms available below can be printed, two sided, and in color to be completed by BOTH parents/guardians’ signatures and notarized. The completion of this step allows for only 1 parent/guardian to be present at sign up. This also applies to any situation where an individual other than the parent/guardian may be bringing a minor rider to the event.

d. For any sole custody parents/guardians that do not complete the online Sole Custody AMA Annual Minor Release, proof of sole custody must be shown at sign up.

e. Failure to comply with one of the above-mentioned approved minor release processes will result in the minor participant not being allowed to sign up. For questions or more information, please contact the PRA Secretary at hogbacksecretary@gmail.com.
